Location: Harborough Rocks near Brassington

This event is in the past.

Hi folks, we will be climbing at Harborough rocks this Thursday. It's a short limestone edge, which can be bouldered, lead or is good for soloing. Best to bring a harness. It's reasonably high up so it should be a bit cooler than down in the valley, hopefuly being limestone the midges won't be there. To get to Harbrough rocks, it's the same directions as for Matlock then turn left off the A6 on the B5036, go through Cromford and then turn right onto the B5035. Cross the B5023 and then it's the next right (after about 1 km and NOT the minor road into the Parking at Middleton Top). Follow this minor road for about 3 km and you should see the obvious works on your right. You used to be able to park here and then there is an obvious path through the brickworks up to the crag; otherwise you'll have to park in Brassington and walk to the crag. To see all this put in Brassington into Streetmaps and it'll become clear.
